Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about how KitPadi works, what happens to files and what to try when a tool does not behave as expected.

Last updated: 29 August 2026
Is KitPadi free?

The current tools can be used without a paid subscription. Features and availability may change in future.

Do I need an account?

No account is currently required for the core tools.

Are my files uploaded to KitPadi?

Most document and image operations are designed to run in your browser. Some features depend on external services, and each relevant page should identify that dependency.

Does KitPadi keep my converted documents?

KitPadi does not intentionally store browser-processed source files or outputs. Your hosting provider may still create ordinary technical server logs when pages and assets are requested.

Why did my download not start?

Check the browser download permission, disable aggressive pop-up blocking for the page, confirm JavaScript is enabled and try a current Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox version.

Why does a converted document look different?

Browser conversion cannot reproduce every advanced Word, Excel or PDF feature. Always inspect the downloaded result before relying on it.

Does the application checker guarantee acceptance?

No. It checks selected technical properties but cannot confirm identity, authenticity, content accuracy or final portal acceptance.

Is temporary email safe for important accounts?

No. Never use a disposable inbox for banking, account recovery, confidential communication or anything you may need to access later.

Can I use KitPadi on a phone?

Yes, the interface is responsive, although large files and complex PDFs may exceed a phone browser’s available memory.

How can I report an outdated requirement?

Use the Contact page and send the profile name plus a link to the official current instructions.

Can I use converted files commercially?

You may use your output for lawful purposes, but you remain responsible for the source material, permissions and third-party rights.

Is KitPadi connected to government agencies?

No. KitPadi is an independent utility platform unless a specific page clearly states an official relationship.
